\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The university has prepared for its students and employees several cafeterias and kiosks that provide nutrition services with continuous follow-up by a specialized committee that monitors the quality of foods. In addition, it offers snacks, sandwiches, and refreshments in the cafeterias on campus.<\/p>\n

Welcome to the vibrant world of extracurricular activities at the University of Baghdad! Our university takes pride in fostering a diverse and dynamic student community, providing a platform for students to engage in a variety of interests outside the academic realm. As of the latest count, we host an impressive array of extracurricular opportunities, including 24 students’ clubs, 24 societies, and 96 sport teams, distributed across our various colleges.<\/p>\n

Students Organizations<\/p>\n

Our students’ organizations reflect a wide range of interests, including academic, religious, cultural, social, and political activities. These organizations serve as a hub for like-minded individuals to connect and collaborate on campus. Membership in these societies allows students to enjoy activities that are not normally part of academic life, contributing to a holistic university experience.<\/p>\n

Benefits and Opportunities<\/p>\n

Through these organizations, students have had the opportunity to:<\/p>\n

Each society is run by students, and any current student may become a member. Individual societies organize a variety of events throughout the year, including an annual general meeting that elects new leadership for the following year.<\/p>\n

Societies are partially funded by the university and also receive support through subscription fees. This ensures the sustainability of these activities, allowing students to continue to benefit from the diverse range of opportunities available.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The university has provided a place in university prepared and equipped for practicing physical and motor activities of all kinds, whether they are individual activities, such as tennis, swimming, or group activities, such as football, or basketball, and whether these places are open or covered. It includes many sports equipment, stores, warehouses, rooms, halls, buildings, sports equipment, and swimming pools.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The university contains a sports infrastructure consisting of a group of sports facilities distributed over several areas, with a total area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b119,379 square meters.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The presence of a kindergarten on campus provides several advantages: it represents a place for the children of university affiliates; and a suitable environment for them to acquire their education, sports and recreational activities. Children of two to five years of age are accepted in the kindergartens and are divided into age-based classes.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A branch of Al-Rafidian Bank<\/a> is located inside Al-Jadriya campus. It provides a range of banking and financial services to university students within Al-Jadriya campus. The most important of these services are smart cards, savings accounts and deposits, internal transfers, soft services, advances, and loans.<\/p>\n
